Good work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. As a deeply collaborative person who has often been the only designer in various in-house marketing teams, I have learned to be a design ambassador who facilitates collaboration with non-designers. People in traditional office environments often undervalue their perspective and feedback in the design process, but they are functionally clients and vital to understanding a project’s needs.
Design, like life, is a journey, and I am as excited by the process as I am the final product. I love playing creative volleyball with others, exploring, researching, and embracing the happy accidents that occur along the way.
